FITTING: I bought this product for my 23" closet door because I thought it would fit perfectly. Of course I forgot that it protrudes a bit from the door so I would need a gap when I open the door! Luckily my closet has a double door so I just have to remember to open the other side first. along with a hand screwdriver, but I was wrong! You really need an electric screwdriver. Be careful not to over tighten or you will ruin the frame. Not many problems either. Door mounts to keep it from scratching and sliding. Had to play around with placement but I think they would work just fine. Take two smallest size command strips and cut them to the width of the bottom "legs". They work great for keeping them in place so far. All my shoes fit in here except boots. Anything much higher than short ankle boots will be too high. Due to the mesh material, rough or protruding parts get stuck when you pull them out, but they definitely don't bother you. APPEARANCE: I mean it's not very pretty. About as good as you would expect from this type of product. It's functional, it's not very bulky, and I can always close my closet door, so I'm fine with that. I'll update if I run into any issues or think of other details :) EDIT: The team poster strips sometimes peel off. If I accidentally bump into the counter with another door, I try the next heavier strips.
