Perfect fit but a little thinner than expected

I like them but there are a few considerations: #1 - They are thinner than I expected. I was hoping they would be more like silpat pans. (see image for comparison) #2 - you definitely can't pick them up if there's something on them - as shown in the image where I'm holding one in my open hand. #3 - Although the pictures show them on Excalibur's open trays, you cannot dry the fruit skin and the weight will cause it to sink into small puddles between the grates - as shown in the picture where I press down lightly the distance between them - you need to use an insert from a polyester shell under it. This picture made me think they would be thick enough to use without a strainer tray. #4 - I find they can tear easily if they get caught on something because when I took them out of their plastic wrap, one edge of the wrap caught and when I pulled on it a small piece came loose. Note to self: Be careful with this - don't be rude. Aside from these issues, the nut squash/applesauce skin I made flaked VERY EASILY. The leaf cleared quickly after soaking for a few minutes. Overall I think I'm glad I have them. Now I can fill 9 trays with thick puree or use them for small bits that might fall through the sieve trays. However, they weren't too thin to flap with the air that passed through them. They pulled up a little because the skin was shrinking around the edges. I have yet to try them out by drying something light to see if there are any problems. FYI: I used 3 cups of thick pulp and spread it 1/2 to 1 inch from the edges. I had to use 4 cups so the skin dries as a single sheet and not in chunks.
