We hard wired these in and do not have the motion detection model.We purchased these for our pool area as it is just my husband and I.During the evening when we want lights on poolside, these light up very well.They were easy to install.We have had them up now for a few months and they have not showed any signs of dimming or had problems due to our southern elements.
They are however, installed under the eaves of the home so they are not getting a constant downpour of rain.
- Replacing 2 35 watt lights
- May be too bright for some users' needs
