Poor build quality got me in trouble backcountry

Bought this bag to use with a Bear Canister and Ursack AllMitey. Fits in both of these containers but was I ever disappointed when on the FIRST NIGHT of the second trip I used it I tore the stitching just below the ziploc part. I used to use it on a 3 day hike with no problems, but when I sealed the bag on the first day of a 4 day trip, the bag's material detached from the zippered portion. The bag didn't overflow and I was about to repeat the printing at least twice as instructed and the plastic just fell apart. The huge sputum completely defeats the purpose of having an odor proof bag. I'm incredibly disappointed. Luckily the smaller bag I pack my used toilet paper in didn't fall apart like that, otherwise I'd be a REALLY unlucky backpacker. Also, I've never camped in actual bear country so the main risk was small critters, but if I were in bear country I'd be very upset if my Ursac didn't have an odor shield for the duration of the trip. Looking at some other reviews, I'd like to sort them by "Newest" rather than "Most Rated" when reading, as several other reviewers have had similar complaints about build quality recently. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if there is another better option for an anti-odor hiking bag, but I'll be sure to do more research next time.
