I have been using these cases for several years and recently bought another set to store ENELOOP AA and AAA batteries. I am absolutely satisfied with their performance. These cases hold up to four AA batteries, or alternatively four or five AAA batteries. The latter option requires a different configuration, with four batteries in parallel and a fifth perpendicular to the other four. Each pack contains four translucent plastic cases in different colors to allow color coding of different battery packs. These lightweight cases are relatively strong, but not indestructible. I would not drop them on a hard surface while the batteries are in as I expect to damage the cases. Their purpose is simple: to store and organize batteries. The cases are relatively tight when closed and I use them in both wet and dry conditions. These cases aren't waterproof, however, and if that's what you need for storage, you'll be disappointed in them. Batteries are kept loose in cases, which is sufficient for stationary storage. If these cases are carried in a bag or bag for photo gadgets, the batteries inside will rattle when moved. This can be a problem with covert photography. To improve this condition, add some insulating material to the case and this should reassure them.
