They were great when I first bought them but after only 2 months of use they just don't deliver the heat protection they promise. I don't even use them for welding - I use them when adding or rearranging wood in my wood stove and while they worked great initially, after a few months the gloves especially feel like they're falling apart completely on the inner lining. When they were new I could hold hot logs for a considerable amount of time, but now, after only two months of use, just a few seconds of flame burns my hand. It suddenly feels like the gloves are retaining heat on the inside of the glove and getting dangerously hotter. Extremely disappointing. Don't waste money.
