Works great with our self closing door on carpet

If we use a stopper on carpet it will hold our spring hinge self closing door perfectly. on tile or hardwood, after the bottom of the stopper accumulates some dust, it will not hold the self-closing door. Other conventional doors look good on any surface. The rubber ring is very durable and the doorstop looks like it will last forever. Excellent quality.
