Great first try at compostable bags
I've just ordered a second box of these bags. Although our city hasn't started composting yet, I thought it would be nice to see how easy or troublesome it would be to separate and dispose of household waste in this way. These bags worked well, although sometimes I have to put the full bag in a plastic bag before tossing it down the chute. The stem of a flower or a very sharp corner of the box can poke a hole through which the coffee grounds or liquid can spill out. This also happens with plastic shopping bags. Go green!
