Suitable for other radios not intended. With that said, you have to be careful. I have a 3tp baofeng, you need to swap the power wires on the charger. Once you do that, no problem. Of course, if you want it to be the original radio, it was made to leave you alone. I couldn't find a charger for my radio and it meets all the specifications except for correct polarity.
