This tool came in very handy for caulking the bathroom countertop which had about a half inch between the back of the sink and the splashback and an equally small gap between the top of the splashback and the framing mirrors. The different parts, width and shape are much better than other sealing tools I've tried before looking for this one. I love this tool for tight spots and precise compaction - especially nice that the tool curves up to properly angle the tip. I'll say if you have a heavy or shaky hand with a caulking gun, this tool won't be as effective for large spaces - I often had to stop to wipe off excess. Because of its slim shape, it doesn't allow for much assembly like the others I have.
