I've been looking for a new work bag that will fit my Mac or iPad laptop and look stylish and this one fits me. When it arrived a few days ago I was surprised at how heavy it was empty. I wore it around the house for a while before deciding whether to keep it or not, but in the end I made up my mind because I really like the look. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but of the three zipped compartments, one of your laptops is the widest. I was hoping this bag would be thinner as I carry a water bottle to work everyday and don't want it so close to my expensive electronics. Because of this I can use the thinner middle compartment to carry my laptop or iPad as it is quite padded. The outer compartment, in which pens and small accessories can be stowed away, is also great and offers plenty of space. I teach and need a bag that will fit all of my various office supplies and help me stay organized. It is not pictured but the center compartment also has a small pocket that attaches to the bag which is also where you can store your supplies. There are also two external pockets that can hold additional accessories. The shoulder strap also looks well made and I like the option of using either the handles or the shoulder strap. (When I was looking for a new bag, I had a surprisingly hard time finding a bag that had both.) I don't like carrying a bag on my shoulder if it's too heavy, as carrying one around can make me Tendonitis in my shoulder got a heavy shoulder bag for too many years. (I blame that on the fact that I have to lug around all my students' essays! :-)) I also took the previous reviewer's advice and protected the pink suede patches with tape, hopefully to repel dirt. I will update my review as soon as it comes in. I use it more often so I can let you know how it holds up but for now I'm very happy with it.
