I was a little apprehensive about using this product because I bought another code scanner from Amazon last year and it never worked properly and was slow. I thought it was because the price was low and I get what I paid for. But it was also cheap but had great reviews and just looked better so I gave it a try. The thing just works. It's fast, it reads codes from my honda odyssey and an older 1998 gmc truck which are completely different vehicles and obd2 protocols. It's also quick to read and can even get some transfer codes, although (thankfully) I don't need that. FYI: I read somewhere that there are some issues after updates, so I didn't update. It still works great without it. It also comes with a nice zippered pouch to store it.
