Review on Dremel 4485 Quick Change Collet by Louis Mechtak

Bought two of these thinking the originals must be better. Both came in the original Dremel packaging. The threads of both nuts begin to seize halfway up the shaft. Not returned because I can use them on another Dremel that I had to modify by removing about five threads because a broken nut like this one showed the top thread. Collets are made of soft aluminum. I ordered RHX brass collets and a TEMO collet/nut set to test and compare and they performed much better. If you encounter the same problem, DO NOT PUSH THE NUT or you will damage the stem threads. This is my last branded Dremel replacement that I will buy.
