This tool is perfect for its intended purpose and a few other uses. There have been some bad reviews about this product being aluminum and not strong enough. It was not designed to run a full engine at full compression. This is to rotate the crankshaft and protect the crankshaft nose when you mount the rotating assembly on your engine. It works great for this use. And as a bonus, I found that the OD is the same size as the harmonic balancer shaft OD, so I also use this bushing to center the front gasket when installing the timing cover. It places the seal exactly where it needs to be to align perfectly with the Harmonic Balancer to ensure there are no oil leaks that you get from a slightly off center seal. All in all it's a well built, solid yet lightweight, very economical, great little tool for the job it's intended for. Buy it, you won't regret it. Crankshafts no longer break when turned with the wrong tool.
