I bought this on a whim because it was cheap. Let me tell you I've never used this on an SBC before. However, I have used it on a Ford Triton engine, Mitsubishi or Kia I believe. On the newt sits very well and firmly. The rest was a little sloppy, but damn it was trial and error.

This is a great way to manually turn the crank and valve train when working with the SBC. It is not designed for use with an impact wrench or other power driven device, it is designed for use with a 1/2 inch ratchet.
