A few negative reviews about disassembly and poor workmanship etc. I've had this item for over a year now and after 7 builds it still looks brand new. This should be a softer metal than the crank so a cheaper head is more likely to snap off than damage your engine parts. Secondly, these sockets (of this and other brands) are not designed to crank a complete engine with spark plugs (forming compression). This is usually what you do with a crank bolt (grade 8) or flywheel adapter tool (a large rod that bolts to the back of the crank to flip the engine). If you are using this tool to put an engine together this is a great tool and will give a very ok if you are trying to adjust the valves on a complete engine that is not designed to do it, or at least take out the spark plugs.
