I bought this case after having to return a screen protector for my new iPhone 11. First of all, I think it's important to point out that if you still haven't received your iPhone 11 and you're buying in advance, you should know that without the case it's quite thick and sturdy. You may not be like me and you don't have an old phone (I used to have a 6) but it was a big difference. I had my old iPhone in Otterbox Defender for 4 years and the case kept it in pristine condition until the phone battery died. I knew I wanted a different Otterbox. Unfortunately, the protective case is bulky, which I expected, but when it's added to the volume of the iPhone 11, it's just ridiculous! I just couldn't hold this mammoth. After dealing with the first return, I spent a lot of time deciding which case to take on next. I ended up ordering the Suburban in plain black as many reviews noted that lighter colors don't stain well. The Commuter feels much better in my hands (female 5ft 4in). It doesn't have a screen protector like the old cases, and it also feels a little less secure. The camera is recessed lower than the body so it doesn't get scratched when set down, which I like. Some crumbs and dirt get in at the front edges of the screen, but it can be folded back a little and blown out. I do not like it. As I know from experience, the rubber stretches over time. Also note that the covers will last longer if you don't keep removing them!
