So easy to use, great results - great for beginners!

I started green with this and from the start my results have been fantastic. This is an 850W heat press with temperature control from 104ยฐF to 390ยฐF. The heat press can handle an area of 15" x 13", which is great for t-shirt work. The guide is really just an overview of the various accessories that are included along with a few different warnings. So if you're like me and have no idea what you're doing, Youtube is your friend. Luckily there is so much information on the temperatures to use and their timings for different fabrics that you can quickly iron your own designs. 2. Then I glued the vinyl to the shirt and used a few pieces of thermal tape to attach the design to the shirt. Using the machine is easy โ€“ no setup is required other than plugging in the power cord and flipping on the switch. Based on some advice I got from several guides, I use the time while the machine is warming up to iron out the creases in my shirt by pressing on the bare shirt while the machine is warming up. Since my shirt was 100% polyester, a quick google search revealed the time and temperature settings to be around 300F for 30 seconds. This proved to be perfect timing and resulted in a great transfer to vinyl. Since I didn't know any better, I removed the contact film from the T-shirt immediately after ironing it and it still came out great. With the machine you can easily set the time and temperature and iron easily. The pressure is adjustable if you have different fabrics or needs. The pivoting design is great for protecting the body from hot surfaces. Just don't touch the metal surface while the car is hot and you'll be fine. But just in case, there's a pair of work gloves in the box so you can use them and stay safe. I've only made shirts so far, but this set includes a range of different attachments for different cup/mug sizes, plates and caps. So far I am satisfied with this heat press!
