Let me start with the main finding of my attempt to stream from a Windows 10 desktop PC to a non-Miracast enabled Smart TV (old Samsung with SmartHub). THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH WINDOWS 10. POINT. The transmitter is recognized as a WiFi adapter, but there is no driver available to get it working. The software listed in the manual will not complete the installation as it refuses to do so unless you are using Windows 7 or 8. What you really need to make Miracast streaming an option is a WiFi adapter that comes with Comes with drivers that support Windows 10 Your graphics card driver should also support this, but really only a USB to WiFi adapter is required to be able to transfer. You can then connect to any Miracast receiver that streams images to your TV via HDMI. It should be easy for ActionTec to make this a working package by providing a Windows 10 driver for the transmitter, but they refuse to do so and their tech support is misleading. You think Windows 10 should natively support Sender, but it doesn't. So save yourself the hassle, grab a W10 desktop WiFi adapter and a highly rated Miracast receiver, and you can stream from your desktop PC to your TV. This kit will not do this unless you are using an outdated operating system.
