I bought a plus size pair in black and white and decided to try this style with a cross waistband and a 7/8 length. I don't know what that means, but I usually wear full lengths and don't like cropped lengths. They are perfect for me (5ft 5in) and I can wear a medium size but I wanted a little more comfort in girth as I like to wear them all day, running or even going to the office. They really do. Hold your stomach and flatten your hips (I got them, ugh). Most importantly, since I have varicose veins with bumps, they have enough thickness and spandex to really, really smooth out any bumps. The real merit of this fabric is the fact that the white is also camouflage, which is really hard to tell with so many white pants. I live in South Florida, it's hot and muggy and I have two white pairs especially for the summer to wear with a longer tunic. Tops Would highly recommend this brand and style.
