The handle on my fridge broke. It's somehow separate from my fridge door. So of course I try to fix it with super glue. This super glue turned out to be the best combination of quality and price, which is why I bought it. I've read several reviews that said it should dry overnight or "take 15 minutes and it's still damp". lol The accident begins with my inability to open the bottle, which may be due to me or poor manufacture. They are said to be able to pierce a bottle of glue with a cap, which I tried, but the cap didn't tighten enough to pierce. So I tried that for a few minutes and ended up piercing it with a pin I no longer cared about. Glue will start to flow onto the thumb. I'm going insane imagining superglue stuck to my fingers for the rest of my life. But I remember reviewers saying it took a long time to dry. So I try to quickly roll the glue into a small ball with another finger before it dries completely (I've done this with regular glue before). Now glue two fingers on. I hold it under hot water and try to roll it up with more fingers to no avail, but in less than a minute the glue on a couple of fingers is completely dry. I spent the rest of the night using hot soapy water and a spatula to scrape the glue off my fingers and nails (I didn't bother to completely remove it from my nails as shown in the photo, it had almost grown back ). I was eventually able to use this to fix my fridge door knob, I held it in place for about two minutes to be sure after applying the glue. Almost three weeks later, the handle is still tight on my fridge. TLDR: The glue actually dries very quickly and sticks very well. I learned this the hard way by getting my hands dirty with glue.
