. This looks like a very solid, well-built device. I was really looking forward to using it because I have a slow kitchen sink and nothing I've tried has worked to clear the clog. The problem with this is that the description of this drill specifically states that the snake head diameter is 2/5 inch. The picture even shows the top, so I figured the top would fit through my sink, which has a drain cross that cannot be removed. However, when I got the drill, I couldn't get the head in the sink around the cross. Because when I measured the head, it wasn't 2/5" but a full 1/2". Doh! Removing the drain cross is extremely difficult and can damage the sink, so I won't do it. What I tried was to remove the head of this snail. So far, that was easier said than done. My metal cutter couldn't do it and I also tried running it under fire. I might need bolt cutters or something really strong because the drill is steel. If I can remove that head I'll attempt to drain the water without it and report back. Wish me luck.
