Here's a dirty little secret. I bought these because they were for my car (Malibu 2011) and I wanted to learn how to code or program them. I couldn't figure out how to program them and found that the dealer has you on a leash. The price is too high. Here's the secret. Since the fobs are identical in size and shape to the OEM fobs, remove the original circuit board from the OEM fob and insert it into the new fobs. It probably wasn't the circuit board that failed, but rather the thin and worn rubber contacts on the inside of the rubber "buttons". I now have two brand new perfectly working remote keys! If your key fobs are worn the same way, you should provide a cost-effective solution by purchasing these two to match the original. This principle should also work with other identical OEM key fobs. This low and dirty keychain made me feel like a genius for a moment!
