Based on the product alone they seem like a good choice but don't think they need to be replaced every 4-6 months. Think of all those expenses! Considering I'm home all day now (working remotely) I use my cutlery all the time. The golden color fades very quickly with regular use and washing in the dishwasher. You can probably keep them a little longer if you hand wash them. The seller was great at replacing them but unfortunately the problem persists and I've already noticed that the new cutlery is starting to tarnish.
