I've seen a more expensive version in the past with mixed results. I started with a 20 year old battery powered drill that broke after 20 minutes of use, but in those 20 minutes I was pleasantly surprised. After I got a new drill this thing really worked. I was able to remove some of the cracked, burned-in vinyl lettering at a speed I never expected. I removed the door sign shown in the photo in about 10 minutes on each side with a fresh drill. And as Billy Mays would say, "That's not all." When I was done with my work, my friend tried to do some larger decals on his boat. He was just as impressed as I was. As long as you start at the edge of the decal and keep the wheel moving so the paint doesn't burn into the paint, this is excellent. For $12 you can literally save hours compared to a heat gun and plastic scrapers.
