I wanted 100% natural L-lysine. Unfortunately, this one is synthetic, but I bought this because I had a hard time swallowing huge pills and fighting the disgusting taste of the only chewable L-lysine I could find. Luckily I had a kitchen scale to weigh out a 1 gram serving, but if you don't have one, it is about 1/2 teaspoon ***UPDATE*** - I finally found a measuring spoon! It's black, very small, like a baby doll spoon, and it was buried in the bottom of the container. So if you can't use yours If you find it, pierce it with a fork until you pull it out at the bottom.This product is advertised as unflavored but it's not really "unflavored", it has a bit of a bitterness a bit similar to salty seawater but it's definitely much better tolerated than Chewable tablets so I'm sticking with that I've also read that this product tends to get lumpy in drinks, so in a container you need to break it up so my solution involved using a shaker with one whisk. I was able to shake out the lumps as I drank and kept it from becoming stout. I highly recommend it.
