These are great flashlights and seem to be of better quality than the battery operated flashlights I've seen at local stores. The battery boxes have clips that make opening/closing very easy, as well as a small open round part on the body for hanging. I ordered 4 lamps and they all worked great. The remote control works very well, I don't need to be near the lights to work. Warm white is fine, but it's a little less warm than the regular lights on my Christmas tree - I'll include a photo of both side by side. Like most wire lanterns, they get tangled easily, so use caution. I wish the adjustment was really subtle, slow flickering of multiple lights at once - all of the flicker adjustments were a little quick for me personally. Or an option on the remote control to adjust the speed of the effect. Overall very happy with them and would order more.
