Housing is a little small
I bought this to replace one that broke in the big Texas freeze last winter, but I was a little surprised by the size of the bowl and filter compared to what I had. . It should still work fine, but will likely clog more often. My well periodically pulls out large clumps of clay that completely clog the filter. My concern is whether a backwash will clear it up or it will clog repeatedly because it doesn't have enough volume to catch it all at once.
