Wow! Soft and supportive on my Trek Slash

Definitely worth the money. The biggest investment in a MegNeg air tank is your time to fine-tune it. I first used it on a Rockshox Deluxe ReActive shock that was originally on my 2019 Trek Slash and it really helped a lot! I then upgraded the shock to a new used SuperDeluxe RCT and Holly Hellen it should match what the pros ride. Of course, I'm becoming more and more interested and knowledgeable in MTB suspension tuning, so I enjoyed taking the time to do the tuning. I like to go as fast as I can through chunky rock gardens and technical terrain, so I like the feel of the softness and poppies so I can float like a butterfly and sting like a bee. So I don't want to use bulk spacers if possible, but I do want a progressive spring rate and the large negative air chamber allows me to do that. It's soft and supple on top for a chatter that offers more sensitivity and small bump traction while still being supportive, so I have something to push against as I pump through the terrain. This support also results in less swing loss and more movement in flat turns, especially on edges and exits. Prepare for additional support in G-Outs. It can feel harsh at first in G-Outs, even when dialing in, but instead of using that energy for almost your entire journey, MegNeg offers so much more support that you get a huge boost in speed. Another notable improvement that I'm very thankful for is the extra support on jumps! Regardless of my body position, I had the most unpredictable swaying feeling without this update. Now that the shocks support my bikes, they don't sag as I ride until I reach the edge of the jump and then lift off the top. It really is better for my driving style in every way. In the 6.1 180LBS Killing Trails on a 2019 Trek Slash 8, MegNeg runs on RS SD RCT - CURRENTLY - with 0 tokens, 1 bar, 220psi at 30% sag, FOX 36 Performance Elite 0 tokens 70psi at 20% sag.
