Flap works well so far I don't put chlorine tablets in the flush tank so expect 2-3 years of hard water. Installation wasn't difficult, but I had to bend the lever flush forward as the flapper diameter is slightly larger than the original solid rubber US standard flap it replaced. Before adjusting the lever, he would cling to the damper and not close at all. Second, the chain is VERY long for this compact toilet and will fall under the valve plug unless cut or wrapped around the chain hook to remove the excess. It took a bit of fiddling to find the exact length of chain to insert to ensure the shock lifted far enough to get a full flush without the lever touching the gas cap. As I said, this is a compact toilet, so you'll have to find the middle ground yourself. After the detection (less than 10 minutes effort) everything was fine and the damper still works perfectly.
