This product should not be advertised as generic. I have a standard American toilet, one of the brands mentioned on the front of the box, and it's a far cry from the size of my toilet. Obviously this product was made for very specific toilet models so the generic label is just a catchphrase they use to entice people to buy without having to do more research. In short, do your research. Find the right faucet for your toilet, not one that mistakenly calls itself generic.

Yes, I could probably return it. It was very easy to install and took less than 5 minutes to set up. It sealed perfectly and worked great for over 11 months and then started leaking. I pulled it out and looked at the seal. There were two large bubbles in the filling. When I installed them, they weren't there. So I took a utility knife to carefully slice the largest bubble about an inch long. Water squirted out. I'm not sure how water gets into this seal and causes it to bulge, especially when…
