It worked. No problem. My only issue is that it is REQUIRED for the Eve Aqua feature to work "well". Example. Today is Saturday at 6:45 am. Terrible unrecorded thunderstorm. I want Aqua to skip today's schedule. I pick up my iPhone and it's "not connected". In order to skip the watering schedule for the day, I have to get up, go to the kitchen, stand over the sink and HOPE the Aqua connects to the homemade bib installed under our kitchen window. With the Eve Extend I can turn on my iPhone or ask Siri anything and it works. He works upstairs, in the living room, at work, etc. NOW he works! I understand that Eve's default connection protocol, Bluetooth, is low-power and battery-efficient, but Bluetooth makes using Eve products a chore. Any connection over three meters is unstable. Even with a direct line of sight, a connection to Aqua through an outside wall is almost impossible. I'm hoping that new technology on the horizon will make the Eve Extend less necessary (and less expensive).
