I ordered them a size XXL to better fit my wide stomach. There is a clear and very obvious line where the compression stockings look like boxer shorts with leggings attached. The line runs about 12 inches below the waist, almost right in the middle of my hips, and provides false compression in that area. The "leg" part is good. Tight and supportive but not too tight. The "boxer shorts" part is definitely not XXL. I was able to get them on all the way but they barely reach the top of my thighs as they squeeze my balls because they are pulled so high and tight. And the belt was so tight that it cut off my circulation and I felt like I would pass out in less than half an hour. Pretty sure people who buy XXL compression stockings have an XXL waist and won't find them to fit.
