At first glance I like the cute design and the flexibility to cook a large turkey or a small roast. At my first Thanksgiving dinner, I feel like the broiler did what it was supposed to. Cleaning it up after the fact takes effort – a lot of burnt fat collects in the grooves around the flaps and the small holes underneath, making a thorough cleaning almost impossible. At first I tried boiling in water but it still required a good wash. Since they're cute rather than functional, I decided to use them in my pots and pan drawers to keep the pots a little elevated. Until today, on Easter Sunday, I decided to make Fam a nice Easter dinner. This is how the flexible roaster woke up from hibernation. This time I wrapped everything in foil to make it easier to clean. The roast turned out great! I opened one eye and began peeling the foil around the brazier, hoping my cleaver trick would work. To my dismay, the entire rubber part melted, exposing the wire and rendering it completely unusable. So I would not recommend this little gadget. Seems more work than reward.
