I've used it twice on a 20lb turkey and occasionally on a turkey breast. I was concerned because I'm roasting a turkey at 500 degrees for 30 minutes and the grate is on the bottom shelf just above the stove. There was no silicone degradation, bad aftertaste, or anything to worry about. The fact that you can wash it in the dishwasher is a big plus, it washes great and looks beautiful.

I really expected it to please since it got such great reviews, but after first use I couldn't get it to hold its position and it popped up full pan size. Worse - I had to work really hard to clean it up. The fat of the flesh is burned and nothing can wash it away. There are holes on the bottom to prevent it from being placed in the dishwasher upside down (dirty water collects in it), which reduces cleaning efficiency in this way. I'm bored of this. Great product with many features. I actually bought this Prepara Roasting Laurel to use in a 6L slow cooker. It does an excellent job of elevating the product above the bottom of the dish, away from a direct source of heat and liquid saturating it. The design itself is attractive and unique as the individual sheets can be nested within each other to take a form to suit your individual needs.
