BIG! I left tips on how to use and utilize these cheap U pins. that's a good change!

I have long hair that almost reaches my bra strap and I ALWAYS pull it back. I wanted to do something DIFFERENT with this mop when I saw them and the SIZE I ordered. I used to order another set, exactly the same but they are smaller as they are 2 inches long! over 20 years and have experience with hair and with all hair clips available but they were new to me and very easy to use. They look way better than the invisible bobby pin. Cleats - you know those REALLY thin cleats that you buy in a pack of 50 that can be bent. use them JUST like that. Place this bobby pin with the tips, bend your hand backwards so the bobby pin is on its 'backside' *2* - with the hair you "picked up" with the tips, move your hand forward - the bobby pin should be pointing up - and insert the pin into the hairstyle, being careful to slide the pin across your scalp - NOT TOUCHING - but making sure it is secure. * I don't want to cheat. connect, but as I insert the bobby pin into my hair, I take the bobby pin and make an up and down motion, picking up more hair as the bobby pin slides into place. This makes them very secure as it makes it harder for the pen to slip out. * There is no glue or sticky material on the back of these cleats but they stay in place very well. *They come in a cute drawstring bag so they're definitely giftable and I would ONLY do THIS for a friend who wears her hair a lot - I bet she'd love it! * It's a bit expensive for two. but this needle is the perfect length. HAIRDRESSER ADVICE FOR YOU. * THEY DON'T BEND, but I have a tip for using these THIN FLEXIBLE U RODS. It looks like a VERY weird "S" instead of a "U". When you look at the clamp, only ONE end should be bent and the other still straight. WHAT IT DOES. It will get caught in your hair when it starts slipping out of your hair as these bobby pins are very slippery BUT they are almost invisible compared to invisible ones. If you remove your bobby pins after dark, be careful as they will be securely fastened in your hair. Loosen them slowly, don't pull! HA! Trust me I ripped these puppies out and it can hurt. IF you have VERY heavy hair you can fold BOTH ends back like a "W" with a smaller tip and it WILL NOT come out unless you PULL IT OUT so I like to fold back one side only!

Pros
  • Best of its niche
