OK, not expensive, but if it doesn't work, yes. I've seen this on other inexpensive bags where the velcro straps are too short. They might fit on a small diameter tube bike, but most modern bikes are beefy. On my bikes, the strap just did the trick, but it wasn't enough to attach the velcro. The zipper is flimsy and snaps, don't know how long it will last, especially when the bag is loaded. Material - Standard Rough Polyester. I like the shape and size of the bag for this place but I can't carry it.
