This cleaner has cleaned our cooking grates but it's not as easy as the instructions say. The only way to clean the grates is to take the grates off the grill and put them in some sort of bath deep enough for the grates to soak, or you have to put the crystals in water to cover them up decompose. and then spray on the grills. It cannot be that the product in its crystalline form will just start erasing the grids without either of these methods. My husband chose the spray method. He sprayed it on the grilles because they've never been cleaned like this, maybe never? He let the spray sit for about three hours, then came back and washed the spray off and scratched a little. He then put the grate back on the grill and turned on the heat, hoping to cook off some of the remaining dirt, which worked. So this remedy worked, but it wasn't as easy as the manufacturer said. Aside from what's inside this thing, there's no information on the packaging about what 'natural' ingredients it contains.
