I thoroughly cleaned the tube ends before fitting the caps. The next day I drove to work and then drove for hours on the highway from Miami to Tampa. I think I was doing 80-90 mph at best. I parked, looked around, and they both disappeared. Trust me, they were fixed very tightly. I can see them being useful if you're just cruising around town slowly. Otherwise it will no doubt be blown away by the heat and speed on the track. Good idea but bad testing as there is no way to test them for a small fee. Rather not spend money and not be disappointed.
