Not impressed! We recently installed a TV over a fireplace and needed a wireless transmitter to send a satellite signal to our TV as we didn't have data connections in the wall. We bought a similar "wired" transmitter a few years ago to do the same for our bedroom TV and have had great luck with it. It is worth noting that the other transmitter was made by a different manufacturer. Since almost all transmitters are wireless these days, we couldn't buy one like we used to. After reading hundreds of reviews and comparing several products, we decided to go with this bad idea! Worked fine for a few weeks and suddenly died. It was constantly losing signal, the picture went black or heavily pixelated, and there was a lag between audio and sound. I could see that it was a problem when the TV and channel were outside of the recommended range; However, the transmitter and TV were in the same room within 3 feet of each other in a straight line. Luckily for the manufacturer, the unit broke the day after the return window closed, so I can't return it for a refund. I am not satisfied with this experience and this product and will never buy a Nyrius product again. I would advise you to do the same! For what it's worth, the other transmitter we have that works great is made by IO Gear. Buy it instead!
