Firstly, for the most part, the feel of assembly is excellent. It's a very solid all-metal body and fits my X-T2 very well; I didn't notice any play in the connection. The aperture ring was smooth and well-buffered, but the focus ring felt a bit rough at the bottom of the focus range. The lens cap fitted like it was going to come loose, and one day it actually did. Picture quality. However, this lens was able to focus decently (?) sharply no matter what photos they all seemed to have some kind of halo. Image quality in the center was fairly soft, while slightly off center was a bit clearer. The biggest problem I found was that there is no infinity in infinity. It had a maximum focus distance of some length, and beyond that, objects were blurry. No amount of aperture setting solved this problem. However, I know that there are excellent copies of this lens; There are albums on flickr dedicated to photos taken with it and none of them show the problems I had. So I ended up sending my copy back, not exchanging it. While I know it's possible to get a great copy, I just didn't have the patience this round. Bitten once, shy the second I guess. Maybe you'll do better than me - either the lens or your patience.
