Only use in wind and light drizzle. Should not be worn outdoors during prolonged periods of rain.
The jacket looks good and is a lightweight windbreaker for cool days and light rain. My son wears it to kindergarten for long walks outside and I've been happy so far - only used it in summer with little rain. We took him to the zoo today and while we were there it rained heavily for an hour. The rain ran down my shoulders and the back of my head. Can't recommend anymore and will be returning to Columbia - we have a one piece raincoat from them that never leaks but the nursery doesn't use it as they only make separate pants and jackets.
