Review on Enhanced NETGEAR N300 Gigabit Ethernet Wi-Fi Access Point (WN802T) by Epickson Palma

Well I picked this up because my favorite WPN802 Rangemax access point was discontinued and I just needed a replacement as I already have a DSL router so I don't need this part. I got lucky and mine was v2 with the latest firmware already installed so it looks like they are all v2 from Amazon. works and all my WiFi devices are connected. I always block my SSID and always use MAC address access control as I love free wifi and hate sharing mine :) This is the first thing to enable once you have the device set up. connected my iphone, ipad, xbox360, ps3, laptop, roku box, wireless printer, all connected well, even with WPA 2 corporate security that everyone should use. Every movie I tried played in HD, it didn't downgrade me and played movies as smoothly as it was on Blueray. As another reviewer said, Multimea QOS seems to be working fine. My only issue with old Net Gear hotspots, and I hope it doesn't suffer the same fate, is the bad power adapters I've been through in 3 years. They just die and this model comes with a newer adapter so I'm hoping this serious bug has been fixed. I'll try to update if that fails. But if you already have a router and are used to setting up Netgears, you'll love this hotspot and it's honestly the easiest to set up. I now manage the configuration page directly from my iPad, which is another plus. I will buy a backup while the price is half of the original price.
