No more deadlift pain

I've used them twice for deadlifts and have had no complaints so far. Basically I ordered them because the way I set up the regular deadlift puts the crest/spine of my calf bones in direct contact with the bar and it hurts. I wore sweatpants and long socks and wrapped some tennis resistance bands around my shin where the bar meets when I start lifting, but it didn't really relieve the pain in my legs and the pain was just unbearable. Effects on my form (mostly my legs were less painful to use the compromised form). There was also an area of my skin that I kept ripping open with the barbell (despite sweatpants and socks). So I ordered them and they made a HUGE difference. I'm 6ft 3 inches tall, weigh 200 pounds and have 14 inches between the top of my ankle and the bottom of my knee. Ordered six XL and they cover almost my entire calf. I prefer to keep them lower so that they sit just above the ankle and provide clearance between the top of the shin guard and the knee as I've found that when I had the guard just below the knee it gave the in the way was Bar. bounced in a weird way when I pulled and didn't care how I felt. My calves are smaller, but they're still quite tight (I'm wearing them over sweatpants at the gym right now, but they fit well on my bare legs too). Definitely recommend. That's a great price. I don't know what the more expensive versions of this product offer that this brand doesn't have. Long term durability might be a factor, but not one I can appreciate at this point. I've only used them in two sessions, but I can say with certainty that they will really help me to really improve my deadlift technique (I'm still a beginner, finishing my first year). If you experience pain when deadlifting, this product is for you.
