Great for eating grass

I'm 6'1" and these large shin guards are perfect for my height. I was looking for something weed friendly and I'm a full time lawn man and they are great for that. They are very comfortable and you just put them on like socks. I've only been using them for a week so not sure about their longevity but so far so good!

Pros
  • This is amazing

  • Not bad

Lightweight and comfortable

I train in taekwondo and am tired of my shins colliding while sparring. I finally settled on shields. I ordered the standard Century but they were too chunky and thick. But these are perfect. Fits quickly and sits well. Not too thick, light. Fits perfectly with my sparring legs. I don't feel restricted or constrained by them. I'm 5ft 4" and ordered an adult small.

Suitable for shin guards

The protection of this guard is sufficient. However, it is obvious that the size of this product differs only in length. I bought a big one. The length was ok, but the circumference does not increase with size, so from M to L to XL. This information was not prominently displayed, and as a result, the guards squeezed my 16-inch calf too tight. I would not recommend this item to anyone with calves over 15 inches. And if the previous post is correct that length is the only variable, I wouldn't…

  • I will not say anything

My husband is tall, 46 years old and still plays football! I can't tell you how poorly designed regular soccer shin pads are, and as your kids grow they seem to want your 6ft 4 teen to wear a silly little 6 inch piece of junk. They cover the entire front of the leg from the ankle to the knee as shown in the picture. I also want you to understand that my mother is English, we play football not soccer all year round. The clothes get torn at the end of the games and my husband has done a lot of…

Perfect for gardening

I bought these shin guards hoping they would protect my "cancerous leg" (removed multiple skin cancers) while working in the garden. I live in the mountains and do thinning, trimming my 5 acres, which requires constant ground crawling. With a recent cancer removal (5 so far) on the same shin, I thought maybe I should get some sort of padding to protect my shin when I'm kneeling on the floor. I put them on when I got them and "Oh my god! They're so comfortable and the padding is perfect.”…

Protect your shins! - Other sports

These shin guards work perfectly! I have shins that often bang when I work on the farm. With numerous bruises and scabs, he looks like I'm in a fight! Sorry if that's too much information but you get the picture. I ordered these guards to prevent further injuries. My shins are quite large and the XL size is just right for me. They are light and fit well. An added benefit that I didn't expect is that they do a good job of compressing my shins without sacrificing circulation. At the end of the…

These shin guards are very comfortable and durable!

After numerous injuries between my knee and ankle several times a month I decided to look for some Revain Shin Pads. I chose two products, one of which was very stiff but couldn't be worn with jeans and I also went for this product which is very unique because it has a nice thick pad supported by a solid elastic band that runs at the same level as jeans. pillow. They are very easy to put on and definitely go with jeans unless the jeans are skinny leg type. I also like the compression they…

No more deadlift pain

I've used them twice for deadlifts and have had no complaints so far. Basically I ordered them because the way I set up the regular deadlift puts the crest/spine of my calf bones in direct contact with the bar and it hurts. I wore sweatpants and long socks and wrapped some tennis resistance bands around my shin where the bar meets when I start lifting, but it didn't really relieve the pain in my legs and the pain was just unbearable. Effects on my form (mostly my legs were less painful to use…

I wasn't expecting much but these are amazing!

UPDATE: I've put these guards through a woods glove, scraped them through sticker bushes, poked them with sharp sticks, dragged them over whetstones, everything works. They haven't snapped yet and the rubber band is still holding. Now I'm debating whether to buy a few more pairs for a few years to come as it's hard to find shin guards that basic. You never know if they'll change the design or stop making them. I climb a lot in dense forests and often get torn shins. I have a set of motorcycle…
