Review on Pro Force SG_B0086OIL12_US ProForce Guards by Willie Ogunlana

I wasn't expecting much but these are amazing!

UPDATE: I've put these guards through a woods glove, scraped them through sticker bushes, poked them with sharp sticks, dragged them over whetstones, everything works. They haven't snapped yet and the rubber band is still holding. Now I'm debating whether to buy a few more pairs for a few years to come as it's hard to find shin guards that basic. You never know if they'll change the design or stop making them. I climb a lot in dense forests and often get torn shins. I have a set of motorcycle shin guards but they are heavy and bulky to carry around and too bulky. I wanted something a lot lighter, with just enough padding so my skin wouldn't tear off my bones when hit with a sharp stick. These shields are just what I need.1. They are very light and do not weigh down the backpack or leg, which means that they can accompany you on hikes even if I do not plan to leave the trail. However, this option is still available.2. If you have long-skinned legs, they should be long enough to cover them from the knee to just above the ankle. They also hold tight and don't slip off too easily.3. They can easily be used as a seat cushion when not used for the calf. If I want to sit on a wet log, I can throw one of the shin pads and keep my butt dry.4. The cushions can be pulled over my knees when I need to kneel, doubling as knee pads.5. Even after some ordeal through sticky bushes and several kilometers through bushes and branches, they show no signs of falling apart. Defects? I think if someone uses them on bare skin playing real football and sweats a lot, they might slide down the leg a bit while running. I wear mine over my socks and sometimes over my pants to keep them in place.
