I was so excited to get this in the mail especially after driving an hour home from work to scan radio stations. However, my heart sank when I installed it. Of course I would take the broken one. Looks like the edges are already frayed, but it was the same as my last port. The jack didn't match the standard auxiliary cable, but I still managed to connect. I then lost connection when I got a small hit, which is what happened to my original port. When I tried to plug it back in, the audio was completely silent. This product really annoys me. 1 star for easy installation. I would suggest finding a good friend who can solder your original, or buying one from a more reliable source.
