Review on πŸ” Mopeka LP Check Tank Halo 024-5002 by Jacob Diego

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great but overpriced

This is way better than the crappy clamps that come with tank check sensors. They might as well have contained nothing but those clips. Also the new metal clips are useless although they are better than the plastic version. These halos raise the tank just enough for the sensors to work, and they do their job very well. I no longer have to struggle with tanks/clips and I don't have to worry about whether I've used the tank correctly. I am very happy with them for two seasons of use. My only complaints are the price and that they don't come with the matching sensor sets. It seems they should be included when you buy the sensors, or at least you should be able to buy a version of the sensors that includes them. Spending another $38 a pair after purchasing a sensor kit feels like a bargain, especially since the included clamps are useless when buying sensors. So from a functional point of view I like these things. They are mandatory when purchasing sensors. But it's disappointing that they're more or less necessary with the sensors (again, the clips that come with the sensors are junk) and that they're so expensive in hindsight. I give five stars for the product itself but only 3 stars for the value for money. They're overpriced, but if you have the sensors (great btw), you'll need them too (unless you have a 3D printer and can make your own version at home for pennies on the dollar). ).
