Review on πŸ”˜ EBC Brakes GD7435 3GD Series Dimpled & Slotted Performance Rotor by Michael Wehrman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Read my review first. Some people don't understand what these rotors are for.

Here is the result. Don't waste your money on these rotors unless you use yellow spacers. These rotors are needed for friction on the yellow pads. If you buy cheaper slotted and punched rotors you will talk like crazy. These rotors are a mixture of cast iron, nickel and graphite. (Another cause of excessive brake dust). If you're worried about brake dust, don't take them. If you want your brakes to last forever, don't buy them. If like me you have a supercharger, tow 30-foot trailers and like to stop when you have to, these rotors and yellow pads are the best you can get. The nickel it contains makes the metal very hard. So if you grind them, get a hoe with a flywheel to grind them or you'll end up with an echo effect. If you get them to do this and drive them for a week you will understand why I call this the echo effect. The bone jumps when it hits the grooves and indentations.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
