Good camping toilet

So if you are reading this review then you already need an alternative toilet. For me, we went with a group to a remote campsite. We have two young children and the thought of digging cat holes and finding secluded poop spots for me and two other little people in a group of acquaintances was stressful. So I dove headfirst into camping toilets and settled on these based on price and reviews. In general I am satisfied, the seals are reliable (most importantly!). It was easy to use and fill with water. I definitely recommend purchasing a chemical tablet for the holding tank (I used Walex) along with RV toilet paper. After 3 days the holding tank was almost full. I think we could maybe get another day and it got a bit smelly upon opening (warning my 6 year old may have caused some stench issues) leading me to a negative. Washing with water is really bad. a slight squirt, maybe 2 ounces, and the poop sometimes needs a little help coming down and leaving a trail of slip. This can be alleviated by adding some water before the poop or a piece of toilet paper. It didn't really bother me but my 6 year old left number 2 in the bowl overnight and didn't say a word because it wouldn't go down and they didn't want to ask for help. As soon as this happened the toilet started to stink. So if you have adults using the toilet this probably isn't a problem, but it could be a problem for children. As for resetting, I went with the RV reset station. I wasn't sure my house toilet could handle 5 gallons of waste at once, nor did I want my house to stink. I've never used a dump truck before, but it was fairly easy and didn't require the purchase of any additional equipment. I had gloves and chlorox wipes, I opened the lid and poured straight into the drain hole. Rinse several times with water provided at the waste disposal station and drain, then wipe the seals, exterior, etc. with Clorox wipes. The Walex tablets did the trick and the reservoir was almost entirely liquid. Overall I'm happy with this toilet and would recommend, we bought the green elephant for the bathroom and it was amazing.
